You spend all of these hours, chasing something you've missed
A long time ago.
Consider it just ignorant bliss
Maybe I'm just lazy, but I refuse to persist
All the notions that I've created.

Collapsing as he stumbles around,
Intensity swells and cuts him down.
Looks upon his world and thinks this:
"I'm understated and meaningless."
So he grabs his keys and runs for the door,
But he's swept up like some shit on the floor.

Trees dislodging from their place in the ground
Limbs are heavy while they're pacing around,
And we leave.
Planting feet among the pieces of sand
Articulating all the thoughts in my head
Interacting with the space in my hand,
I'm relieved.
We all lie, this doesn't matter to me
You deny, conflicting my memory
In my mind, we gave it all I agree.
But next time, you'll tell a different story
Already tried, keep it contemporary
Never mind, stay in my territory.
